Larry Madin is a Senior Scientist and the Deputy Director and Vice President for Research at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) in Woods Hole, MA. He’s also an expert on Salps, an amazing tube shaped sea creature that feeds on phytoplankton and uses a form of underwater jet propulsion to move around.
